Support Families & Develop a Community Our classroom is comfortable,
home-like and functions much like a family which establishes an immediate sense
of community for the student and the family. We embrace the Reggio
Philosophy in our school, and to establish a sense of community is
very important. The students are acknowledged as being an integral part of our
program and are encouraged to take part in daily activities such as serving snack
and caring for the classroom. They learn a sense of importance and responsibility
as they take part in the activities while learning life skills ranging from working
cooperatively in a group, conflict resolution and strong self confidence. |
